ANZSNM Annual Scientific Meeting
The ANZSNM Annual Scientific Meeting is the premier conference for nuclear medicine professionals across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The meeting brings together clinicians, scientists, technologists, and trainees to share advances in clinical practice, research, and technology within nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. Through a comprehensive scientific program, expert speakers, and valuable networking opportunities, the conference fosters collaboration, professional development, and the ongoing advancement of the specialty.
AANMS plays an active role within the ANZSNM ASM, and hosts the AANMS AGM, Fellows Dinner and the Registrar Research Awards.

AANMS Registrar Research Award
AANMS also offers a Registrar Research Award for a nuclear medicine trainee who gives the best oral presentation at the ANZSNM ASM. The Award is open to current trainees and those who are no more than one year post-training.

AANMS Theranostics Course
Theranostics represents a rapidly evolving area of nuclear medicine that integrates diagnostic imaging with targeted radionuclide therapy to enable personalised patient care. AANMS supports excellence in theranostics through education, training, and professional leadership, fostering best practice and advancing the safe and effective use of theranostic techniques across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
AANMS delivered the preeminent Theranostics Course in 2022 and 2024, with the next course expected to be delivered in 2027.
