Associate Professor Elizabeth Clingan

A/Prof Elizabeth Clingan is a Nuclear Medicine Physician and Level A CTCA Specialist in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Wollongong Hospital NSW where she is the Nuclear Medicine lead for Melanoma, Head & Neck and Thyroid.  She also holds appointments with Lumus Imaging and the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine.

Elizabeth has a long-standing interest in education and training and was engaged as the Nuclear Medicine curriculum expert for the recent RACP Curriculum Renewal Project and served on the curriculum renewal group.  In her third term on the Committee for Joint College Training (CJCT) in Nuclear Medicine, she is serving as the Chair.  She is the current Nuclear Medicine Representative on the RACP College Council.

Her interest in education and training extends to basic physician training where she acts as the NSW State Coordinator of the RACP Adult Medicine Divisional Clinical Examination and as a Senior National Examination Panel member for the RACP Adult Medicine Clinical Examination.  She is a current ASMOF NSW State Councillor and is on the Federal ASMOF Women’s Working Group as the NSW representative.
