Dr Andrew Henderson

Andrew Millar Henderson is a Nuclear Medicine Physician and Radiologist, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He is a graduate of Otago Medical School and has an M. Sc. in Advanced Oncology (Ulm).
He has practiced as a Nuclear Medicine in public and private practice in Perth, Western Australia for 20 years, since 2002 and in Auckland New Zealand. He has previously held positions at the Nuclear Medicine Departments of Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital. He was a director of Oceanic Medical Imaging in Perth and worked for private practices in Nuclear Medicine in Perth including SKG and PRC.
He returned to New Zealand in 2022 to practice Nuclear Medicine in Auckland, currently reporting for Allevia Radiology and performing Nuclear Medicine therapy in private practice.
He has been an active member of multidisciplinary meetings in Perth and New Zealand, including the New Zealand National Neuroendocrine Tumour MDT currently. He has been active in Nuclear Medicine training for his entire career, currently involved in the nascent New Zealand registrar training program.
He is working with fellow physicians in New Zealand to broaden the depth and range of Nuclear Medicine services for New Zealanders and to encourage Nuclear Medicine Research. He is a member of the AANMS Theranostics Committee and the current Chair of the New Zealand branch of AANMS.
